Moritz Koch, Percussion

Moritz Koch was born in 1997 and studied classical percussion with Olaf Tzschoppe at the Bremen Academy of Arts as well as with Rainer Römer at the Frankfurt am Main Academy of Music and Performing Arts. His concert activities range from jazz drums/percussion with guitarist Tatyana Ryzhkova to opera productions at the Wiesbaden State Theatre and the Bremen Philharmonic. For several years, he has focused mainly on contemporary music and ensemble playing, and on working with composers of our times. Concert tours in this field have taken him to Thailand, China, Brazil, Poland, Denmark, the Netherlands and multiple places in Austria and Germany. Last year he produced CD recordings for NEOS and Kreuzberg Records.
