Autumn Concerts
IEMA-Ensemble 2023/24
After almost a year of intense studies and rehearsals under the guidance of Ensemble Modern’s members and numerous guest docents, all part of the master’s degree course ›Contemporary Music Performance‹ in cooperation with the Frankfurt Academy of Music and the Performing Arts (HfMDK), the IEMA Ensemble 2023/24 will give several concerts in September. Starting with a guest appearance at the Lucerne Festival Academy, the Ensemble goes on to perform at the Gaudeamus Muziekweek in Utrecht, at the Edenkoben Mansion and at ZKM in Karlsruhe. In Frankfurt am Main, the IEMA Ensemble presents three concerts at the HfMDK and at the NAXOS Produktionshaus, as part of the Naxos Hallenkonzerte, performing »classics« with and without electronics as well as very recent works.
